After an easy check-in we were provided with a big room. The location was good and magnificent, very close to almost all of the Dominican Republic and Santo Domingo and the airport from Boca Chica.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Neptuno Refugio. The owners were so helpful and attentive, even ordering us a delivery of water and beer within the first hour of our arrival. The security guard made us feel safe, and the quiet, cozy atmosphere was a welcome change from the bustling streets of Boca Chica. The 1br apartment with a big balcony was perfect for us, despite the slightly ratty furniture. The location was great, just a short walk from the beach. I highly recommend this hotel for a decent and quiet stay.

Our room didn't have hot water for the shower and it was a bit of a hassle to have to notify the staff multiple times to get it fixed. the pool was quite small and didn't offer much privacy.
